Glenn Ambrose joins the Curiosity Junkie Podcast to talk about his sobriety and how it helped him find joy in the everyday experience. He shares how he remembers coming to the moment where he sat for hours contemplating suicide and how he ultimately had to choose giving Alcoholics Annonymous a try. Glenn says he would never be able to kill himself if he knew deep in his heart, he hadn’t tried everything to find the happiness that eluded him, and AA was his last hope.
Turns out that was the best decision he ever made! Today Glenn is an Author of the book, Down To Earth, and his international life coaching business is booming. He is also a spiritual teacher on the Insight Timer app, and hosts his own podcast called Life, Lessons and Laughter With Glenn Ambrose. His story is the kind of story that inspires others to do better, be better.
Glenn and I talk about his highs, his lows, and how he found joy and peace in the world around him through sobriety. One of my favorite parts of our conversation is when Glenn shares his movie analogy, it’s wonderful, so I encourage you to tune in, settle in and join the conversation.
