Does fear keep you from living your best life? Have you wanted to do something, but don’t because you are worried about failing or what others might say or think? Or maybe your fear of the unknown keeps you from fully connecting to the world around you.
I believe at one point in our lives we have all been crippled by fear. Fear of failure, fear of disappointing others, fear of getting hurt, fear of being left out, fear of those beliefs that are different from our own. It’s natural to have some fear, its how the brain works to protect us from things that can harm us.
However most fear can be overcome and we can live a fear free life if we can learn to become observers of our thoughts and not participants in it. Most of us become identified with our thoughts, we begin to think that our thoughts are who we are. We are not our thoughts!
Join Tracy Brady and myself, as we talk about the steps to becoming the observer of our thoughts. Tracy’s sports analogy is, once again, spot on for helping us visualize for deeper understanding.
