Kelli Burton-Wartelle shares her experience of surviving anaphylactic shock. And how she has learned to manage the fear and anxiety of living with severe health conditions and food allergies.
Kelli shares how she has become comfortable asking those she loves, and who love her, to help manage some of the daily difficulties. She talks about learning to trust those in her inner circle to respect her wishes to keep her cleaning, cooking utensils and pans separate and far from any allergens or possible contamination.
Living with extreme allergies can be filled with fear and anxiety. But when you learn to ask for help managing the day to day stress, the fear lessens and the anxiety slowly turns to trust.
